5.85271 m at 126.75 deg CCW from +x.
mag1=15, theta1=48
v1 = +10.03696 +11.14717
mag2=15, theta2 = 180+25.5
v2 = -13.53878 -6.457666
v3 = v1+v2 = -3.501820 +4.689506
mag(v3) = 5.852710
angle = arctan2(v3y,v3x) = 126.7500 deg
arctan2(Vy, Vx) accommodates the full 360-deg range of angles whereas the normal arctan(Vy/Vx) function can only output angles in the +x half of the plane, -90 to 90 deg. In this case it's necessary since the problem was set up for a -x resultant.

i will guess you're retaining the undertaking wrongly. i will guess vector C is angled 20 ranges clockwise from the x direction. That way we've a 60 degree attitude between vector A and vector C, and the makings of a pathogrean 2-4-5 triangle. Vector B would be value 9.0. some twiddling with the triangles in contact shows the attitude of vector B is 50 ranges CW of the +X direction.
