MCRs songs don't have any meaning in the lyrics or the music. Led Zeppelin was great because they had that great balance and it stood for something. Anyone can strum one power chord like MCR does. While Jimmy Page as a guitar god. And most modern rock (I believe MCR falls under that category) was influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin. Without them MCR would have nothing. Those are just a few reasons why MCR sucks and Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest bands of all-time. MCR dosen't even deserve to be in the same question as Led Zeppelin, but you had to do it.

Everything is an opinion so to you Led Zeppelin my be less than MCR. But to another it my be the other way around. I personally see positives of both but I'd have to say Led Zeppelin is better because it has more musical elements by that I mean more intricate and technically material. MCR has some intricate and technical material but not as much as Led Zeppelin which is why I think Led Zeppelin is better. But again this is my opinion.

Ok, I listen to a lot of Metal, and I respect Led Zeppelin for their influences, but I don't really like listening to them. Since I don't like listening to MCR either, I can have a non biased opinion.
Lyrics: Zepplin is better

What are you like 6? MCR is a bunch of poser *** punks. All that emo crap is the same anyway. Led Zeppelin is great. Aerosmith is fantastic. ZZ top was amazing. Listen to some real music.

Far be it from me to preach the virtues of Led Zeppelin as I probably could not identify a single song in their repertoire (didn't they do "Stairway to Heaven" ?). And I would be considered ignorant by most "Rockers" of any decade however I have at least heard of Led Zeppelin but have no idea who MCR is.

you cant really compare MCR to Led Zeppelin. both band rock, but they are different branches of rock.(some argue against this... but i listen to all branches) Led Zeppelin.. they're classic. they're one of those bands that set off a domino effect, like a lot of older bands. its kinda like you cant be considered a real rockeer if you dont like them, as they are the basis and inspiration for so many bands. and, like almost everything, its all opinion
