because often times we really aren't sure what it is. it's hard for some people to realize just what their own happiness is...what sort of things would bring happiness to them.

happiness is subjective. in my case, having a house a car kids and pets is not my idea of a happy life...to me it is travelling around the world for the rest of my life, unmarried, no kids...

but in any case, it is not so much 'delaying' happiness, it's more of...tardy realization.

A lot of people delay happiness because of a very low self esteem and lack of confidence to be able to make the best decision to take them to there destiny.Putting yourself first will help you identify whats best for you before others.

We have all been dumped on a blue rock in the middle of space!
No one asked to exist, and there is no blueprint for the meaning of life.
So to be truly happy, is nigh on impossible

Watching TV, I get really shitty every time I see these simpletons going stupid right after some stranger tell them -
"You won million bucks!"
Many of us show happines after we see the money on our bank acc.

Because of the self-imposed idea that it is undeserved until "something" happens.
