Hello!
I am 47 and still wonder sometimes what my goal in life is? I think sometimes we all think that are goal or destiny will magically come to us in a dream or something. I know in my life, I had at one time aspired to be a songwriter.. A singer in the country music industry was what I wanted! But... I tried to take the road I thought was the right one, and fate stepped in!
I got the opertunity to sing a song that I had written on the Grand Ole Opry Stage in 1995! I thought it might be the beggining of something special, and a dream was being realized! But, nothing came of it and my songwriting I hoped would open doors, did not! But... I do believe in following your dreams! Even if it does not come true in the end.. I have always believed that it is better to try and not make it, then wonder years later what would have happened if I would have tried, but didn't! I hope you find your calling in life!

Sometimes I think my purpose in life is to tell everyone on Y/A who believes in horoscopes and psychics how stupid they are. My goal in life used to be to have a drink at a swim-up bar but I already did that so I need a new goal in life.

“Unless you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is meaningless.” –Bertrand Russell (20th century philosopher, mathematician and Nobel Laureate)

Without God, all we can do is to make us feel better about ourselves (boost our egos) and/or make us forget about our meaningless existence.

But if God exists, then He must have put our need for purpose into our human nature to point us to Him. Seeking God and finding God is our purpose. Christians do that when they try to obey His command to love our neighbors for where love is, there God is also.

Pepito - LOL... You know how many jokes are out there about you?! My "our" purpose in life is to live for God by following the ten commandments and live an eternal life with him - unless of course, one chooses to live w/ lucifer.
