i need help with the monkey part where you have to save the monkeys. i already saved 3 monkeys now i dont know where to go.

I can't tell you exactly where the monkeys are, but there is an almost certain other way to find them.
In the second stage of the dungeon (with the giant spider that hangs from the ceiling), head to the very center of the stage and look up. There should be a lot of pots hanging on webs. On one web, there is a chest hanging on it. Use the boomerang to slice the web off.
Now open the chest. Inside is a time-wasting cut scene and a COMPASS!!! on your map, the compass allows you to find every chest, monkey, Ooccoo, and boss. The red dots are the monkeys.
