ok first .....the code of friendship between girls you always let your friend have the guy and if he likes you better let him tell her, never let a guy come over your friendship.

talk it out with your friend. the worst thing that could happen is that this boy could come between you two. here are some suggestions.
1. I think you should just drop the boy, if he's going to come between you and your friends, he's not worth it. you may be thinking "but i really like him." or "he's the one." but do you actually know him, like not just what sports he plays, can you express your true feelings infront of him? Also, there are so many more fish in the sea, in a week at least you'll get over him, friends are forever. If my best friends crush asked me out, i would say no, its just cruel. work it out with your friend.

Look, if this guy is flirting with both of you. FLirt back, try to find out who he likes more. Get him to choose. If he chooses your friend, then he can't see what he's missign in you. But don't get in a fight about it. Trust me, i just got out of a two year guy slump, now i'm dating the guy i liked the entire time. Find someone else if he doesn't like you. Or you could wait for him (but i don't suggest it). IN basic. Have fun. If he's into you, good. IF he's not, he's probably missign out on something great. But don't wait- find someone, weather it's his best friend or a total stranger. AS long as you and your friend are happy, who cares who he likes.

I like your clarity.

Have a talk with your friend about him. Find out what her motives are. Find out how much she likes him, and discuss how you'll feel if he ends up liking one of your more. You may find out that she just thinks he's cute and fun to flirt with, and nothing more (or you may really only like him that much, if you start to think about it).

If it is determined that you like him more than she does, the only way to get things to progress is to get some alone time with him AWAY from her.

flirt with that boy as much as you can. sit by him whenever you can. start conversations with him. compliment him. he will totally be liking you. but if he asks out your friend and your friend said yes just saying, shes not a very good friend anyway.

I think you should tell this boy that u love him and tell him that your friend like him too, and wait for his answer if he say he don't no which one u he likes than he whant to love u both and that is not a good thing.

Talk to him and see how he feels about you and have your friend ask him also how he feels about her. Than go from there.
