Just write the paper. Then go back thru and take the adjectives and adverbs out.

Of course, it can be done. I assume your teacher means no descriptive adjectives. It might be hard to write a paper without any possessive adjectives (my, your, our ...) or demonstrative adjectives (this, that, these, those). But descriptive adjectives can be avoided, such as by using similes and metaphors. Example: "The rose petals were soft" becomes "The rose petals felt like velvet."

So can adverbs, if you use strong verbs that don't require them. For instance, instead of writing "The drill sergeant shouted loudly at the recruits," you would write, "The drill sergeant barked at the recruits."

By the way, you can write well without using big words. In the Lord's Prayer and the Gettysburg Address, there are hardly any words longer than two syllables, yet they are among the most beautiful and powerful texts ever written.

just write what you feel like writing. if what you are writing requires an adjective or verb use it. thats what they are for. it is not fair nor is it necesary to write something meaningless even if it is an assignment, don't write something just to pass a course.your writing teacher does not know everything you will have many opportunities after this course don't be afriad of failing a few assignments just keep writing the way you feel is right.

Use very simple sentences. Sentences like: I ran. She walked. Use a noun and verb only in each sentence. Good luck!

Make snetences like the old "Dick and Jane" books. "See Jane run. See Dick run. See Dick and Jane run." Make it as simple as you can get. I think its possible but its gonna take some time!
