She never wins when we play tennis together, and I am afraid if I don't let her win now and then she will lose interest and stop playing.

Should I take my case before a line judge in court? What would be the net results? I want to keep my eye on the ball and not be self serving.

Be careful with that... it all depends on the woman... I mean she might get really upset with you if she thinks you let her win... But then again she might think you were just having an off day and tease you about it for awhile... Either way try to make things a little more fun... like getting another couple to come to the courts and playing couples... then you can work together and she'll feel great when the 2 of you win.... She doesn't need to know it was mainly you... And just keep trying to give her pointers and help... It's a great oprotunity to hold her close and show her the correct grip, swing, etc...

This depends on if you're a gracious winner or not. If you get in her face after a win, she might be hurt by that. I think you should never let someone win but always make sure the game is fun, so you both win.

You should let her win once in awhile and just pretend you really sucked that day. That way she would gain more interest in learning how to play even better! Instead of feeling like a loser all the time. Best wishes!

Don't stop beating her, but let her come closer. Give her a taste of what it would feel like to win and she will never lose interest. Letting her win is lame, make her earn it.

You should be able to tell if it bothers her. And, why not just play for fun and not keep score? Help her improve her game, if she's open to advice. Otherwise, just do it for the exercise. You're right, she might lose interest if she's always losing. I would.

When I lose interest, I refinance.

If you beat her, don't bank on her trust, she'll start saving deposits for a down payment on a newer model.
Invest well and her "net" worth will grow!

No, because if she figures out that you let her win, she'll lose interest anyway. Better, get her tennis lessons, and help her beat you honestly, or call it love. ;-)

wow u scared me there...i thought u were talking about physical beathing...jeeez.
i think u should let her win once or twice, but DONT MAKE IT OBVIOUS! i hate it in tennis when my mom doesnt go for something or doesnt try...its annoying. if she loses interest because she doesnt win then that's her fault i guess.
