I noticed it tooh. Very odd. I see it happening all the time. I can't figure it out! :O

In case anybody's wonderin, he's talkin about playin chess on Yahoo Games.

Hello there,
Don't worry about people critizing how you phrase the question. Here is how time works in chess: 1) if you have clock then the player who times out first loses even if he/she could checkmate in the next move; 2) if there is no clock but a coach says "time out" and the last move was not a checkmate then two situations may occur: a) the coach may decide for a draw, which may not be fair since one player may have too much material loss, and b) the coach may analyze the position and give victory to one side based on positional analysis despite no clock. I think you have in mind a game with a clock then the answer is yes, whoever times out first (flashing light, beeping, buzzing) loses the game.
