Who do you think were the best Glam-Rock band of the 1980's?

Adam and the ants were not "GLAM ROCK"... Starting out primerilaly as a PUNK outfit they deffo went pop as they went more mainstream....
Glam rock would be bands like Kiss, Europe or even Whitesnake for the 80's but would be better defined as soft rock as glam finished on 22nd November 1979.
I know cos i'm a Tw@... the wife's just called me one!

There weren't many glam rock bands left by the 80's. Adam and the Ants would probably fit, perhaps Kiss, I preferred Adam. However, the BEST glam rocker of all time was David Bowie in his Ziggy Stardust persona. Superb! I was lucky enough to meet him then too!

Psyco Joe: all your list is Hair Metal not glam rock, apart from L.a Guns and G'n'R that was no where near glam rock or hair metal!

First of all, GUNS N' ROSES IS NOOOOOOOOOOOO HAIR BAND/ GLAM BAND. They actually rock. You listen to them and then listen to Motley Crue or Poison they are not even in the same ball park as Guns N' Roses. Guns N' Roses music stands the test the time. Not Dr. Feelgood or Unskinny bop, and that trash.

I think you mean either glam metal or hair metal (Poison, Motley Crue, et al) and the answer is none, they were all S***!
