Personally, I get sick of them calling constantly during the18mos. -2 years before a general election. It has already started and I am dreading another election season.

Also, who thinks campaigns should be limited time wise? Say no campaigning until 2 mos. before the primaries and 3 mos. before the general election.

I think they do not need to call anyone. If I wanted to hear trash I'd call a 900 number

No. It's freedom of speech and political discourse. However, you do have a right to let the answering machine, or voicemail, screen all of your calls.
