Because I've definitely got one. Doesn't stick out as much as some mens, but it's definitely there. None of my female friends have one!

Oooh, you're a cruel lot! I don't cross dress, have a beard (well, not much) or have a deep voice. And it's not really visible, but can be felt as quite a prominent bony structure. Hmmm. Interesting :-)

The larynx and thyroid form the "Adam's apple. It is more prominent in boys than in girls beginning at puberty. Girl's most certainly do have Adam's apples. But, another assessment that should be made is to have your thyroid checked. MANY more women than men have thyroid problems. If the thyroid is not working properly, it can enlarge . . .a LOT. Women long ago and in some underdeveloped societies still suffer from enlarged thyroids. That huge mass that occurs is called a "goiter". When you visit your doctor soon to have your thyroid checked, he or she will palpate your neck to feel it and will have blood drawn for a test to check thyroid hormone levels. A simple pill supplement every day, if your thyroid levels are low causing a slight enlargement, will fix the problem just fine.

Every person has an Adam's Apple. It is there to run along the line of the neck and is part of the ensemble that allows a person to speak. A woman's Adam's apple is smaller and set slightly deeper in to throat which usually means its not visible. However, it is not unusual for women with very thin necks to have their Adam's apple show. Even if your neck isn't ultra-thin, your Adam's apple may simple be set closer to the front of your neck than most women's. This is not a cause for concern unless it causes you pain...If this occurs than you need to see your Dr.

Everyone has an adam's or eve's apple, some women have more noticable ones. All females have adams apples as stated above. If you touch any girl who is not a mute on the throat you can feel it. Guys just have bigger ones because of the level of testosterone in their bodies. Perhaps you have a hormonal imbalance? See your doctor if yours is visible.

Women with prominent Adam's apples are uncommon, but not extremely rare and, moreover, many women with visible Adam's apples are very feminine and attractive. For example, I personally know a few very attractive, feminine women , who simply happen to have large Adam's apples. Francesca Neri is one famous gorgeous woman and she has a very prominent Adam's apple. Sandra Bullock is another. Don't sweat it hon!

Everyone has an Adam's apple (technically, larynx), but it's mostly men with the noticeable ones. As long as you're nothing like Ann Coulter, don't worry about it.

Not all men have them either. It's a good thing they don't because I find a prominent Adam's Apple to be very unattractive.

An "Adam's apple" is the larynx. Usually, the larynx in males is larger and lower, so that it is obviously seen. Females in general have smaller ones, but I'm sure there is the occasional female who has a large one. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Some thyroid disorders can be cured, but many require lifetime treatment. Learn here https://tr.im/AhT9d
For example, sometimes early stage thyroid cancer can be cured by surgery to remove the thyroid gland, but you will need to take thyroid hormone medication afterwards for the rest of your life. Goiters can also be surgically removed and do not always recur after surgery. In most cases, thyroid disorders need treatment over a lifetime. However, with treatment most people with thyroid disorders can live normal, healthy lives.

To the best of my knowledge if you don't then you got big biological problems. It might not be as pronounced on women, but the underlying parts should be there. I suspect you're just thinner around the neckline than a lot of women.

I think women do have adam's apples. They just don't stick out like guys do because our voices aren't as deep.
