I am male, 56, married, 4 kids, BA, MA, PhD but I have decided to work as a carer. I earn £6.63 per hour. I have to do overtime and weekends to earn sufficient money to pay the bills, but there is an increasing number of elderly and vulnerable people who need to be cared for. On average, I earn about £1000 a month.
It seems to me that other people (university lecturers, for example - I have been one) earn far too much for the little they contribute to society.

Higher end six figures a year. Why? (and by the way I am a Highschool drop out for I could not stand the B.S. they were teaching about get your degree and find yourself a job. That's the surest way to the poor house.

If University education was the answer, our teachers and preachers would be examples of health, wealth, and well-being rather than an underpaid, underfed segment of our society.

There are certain questions you should never ask anyone.
1. How much do you make?
2. Did you have sex last night?
3. With your wife or mistress?
4. Anything about the private parts of others.
5. And probably arguing about abortion. Either side is sure they are right and will not budge from their position. So don't bring it up.

I have been out of work for 3 months.
Due to a lack of qualifying papers (such as college education and or certificates, even though I have 40 yrs experience in the electronics field, can`t get good job.)
My advice is go to college, get the degree!
Even if you have little experience, you will be hired ahead of me!

50K plus bonuses and profit sharing but this will be my first year making more from investments than from wages. So more than 100K per year total.
