For the past couple of months I've been experiencing an air bubble sort of feeling inside my vagina. I know its not a queef because I experience this problem at least 20 time a day. It feels as if my juice's form into a little bubble and I have to wiggle my legs around in order for it to pop but it always comes back a couple minutes later. I went to the doctor to try to get an exam but I have a really big anxiety problem about getting checked down there so I couldnt go through with it. I also notice a really thick light yellow discharge thats coming from there. Other than that I have no other problems. Any ideas on what it could be or how I could be more comfortable getting a pelvic exam? I'm also on the depo shot and I've heard it could make you sensitive down there...

The air bubble thing is normal. It usually happens premenstrually like a few days before your period, or during. However it can happen whenever it wants to. The reason for this is:
Every girls produces a different amount of discharge, some produce a lot, others, little to moderate. You just maybe one of those people that prduces a lot of it. Also, your vagina has a vaginal opening which can constantly collect air just from opening and closing your legs. So what you have going on is completely normal.
The yellow dicharge is normal to. It can be clear, or yellow. During your period it can be brownish. This is all normal.
Abnormal discharge is
Green
Extremely foul smelling, which means not your usual smell. Almost like fish. This also does not apply to around period time, because it can smell pretty terrible down there.
Brown (except for during or around your period. Then you're ok).
The thickness of it also depends on the time of month. It is usually yellow and thick or thin, or clear and thin.
So you are absolutely fine and normal.

You're going to have to get your legs in the stirups, sorry. I know it's not a good time, but you need this taken care of. I'm 33 and can tell you that 'basement' problems don't get any better, they only get worse. Oh, and your doctor has heard it ALL before, so don't be worried or shy about giving DETAILS. Nothing will gross out a gynecologyst.

Thick yellow discharge could be a sign that something's wrong. Perhaps you have a yeast infection or some other problem. Please get over your fears and get an examination.

As far as how to get an examination, it could maybe help you not to look. You could perhaps close your eyes? When I had a pelvic exam one time the nurse's aid offered to hold my hand. I really appreciated the offer. You could perhaps listen to music or do something else that you find soothing.

Yeah, the discharge prob means you have something wrong but the "bubble" I think is normal. I get it a few days before my period and after.
