Wal-Mart has recently recalled chinese made flip flops due to lead based paint causing a "chemical burn" on feet. I have already took my flip flops back due to this but have all ready suffered the "chemical burn". This has left my feet scared. Does anyone know what exactly can I do? Should I sue? Never had a problem with anything like this. In need of some advice. Thanks!

Wal-Mart is the worst example of corporate greed in history!!
Your tax dollars pay for Wal-Mart's greed:
The estimated total amount of federal assistance for which Wal-Mart employees were eligible in 2004 was $2.5 billion !!!
That's 2.5 BILLION we could use for our schools or whatever else OUR money should be used for.
It's the sad truth that Wal-Mart employees are at poverty level while that horrible company makes billions of dollars each year.
Stop shopping at Wal-Mart and send them a message that they give America a bad name.

look up Walmart corporate office online, email them or if they have a direct phone contact number, you call and inform them that you plan to get an attorney to cover your medical expenses for their recalled flip flops- also inform them (or I would) they need to quit buying crap from china, they have been known for the most tainted dog food, their dog toys were also recalled due to toxins check out http://www.itchmo.com for recalls, you will see it, they have so many recalled things because they import most of their stuff from China- DONT BUY FOOD FROM THERE!
Hope you get better- sorry you were another victim of this- our dog had to be put down Feb 16 to the chink bastards, and the recall didn't even come out until March 20 so I am against anything from China, I won't buy anything with their label on the bottom. I want my dog back!

I am so sorry for your foot problem!
If you need money to help with your medical bills or something, you might be able to sue for it. You can consult with an attorney.
If you want to sue just to sue, I would skip it. It's a huge hassle and you won't really feel that much better.

I would call Wal-Mart and tell them what has happened...If you need money to help with your medical bills they will pay and give you money so you will not sue... My Sister Got 600.00 does not make it better, but it helped...
