They might notice a change in your behavior, but they can't tell the cause unless you give them some indication.

Not really. But a lot of times in my gym class there are girls who aren't participating well or they feel really bad because they are having cramps from their period. A lot of the time, you can tell whether girls have had their period yet by seeing if they have any breakouts/pimples. Usually the girls with a lot of pimples have gotten their periods at early ages and the people with smaller pimples recently got it. Your height can also tell. However, I know a girl who is really tall, she's 13 and 5' 10" but she doesn't have any pimples. Some people are lucky like that. Usually if you are tall that means that you have gotten your period. So unless you have pimples and show moodiness and uncomfort, people cannot tell that you are having your period. Make sure you don't tell anyone but your closest and most trustworthy friends because if someone else finds out, word spreads fast.

No worries hon! Nobody will know unless you tell them, or have a stain. If you wear pads and you are worried about the pads bunching up and people being able to tell you are wearing a pad, then don't wear tight pants on those days, wear a longer shirt or a jacket/hoodie, and try the ultra thin pads. They are so thin that there is barely any bulge at all and they are fairly comfortable.

Overall, people can't usually tell. Although, getting your period can result in PMS or a little increase in moody behavior. If it also bleeds through your pants, obviosly people will know. Or if someone hears you talking about it or from rumors. But relax, no one can tell by simply looking at you. Your self-consciosness will go away once you get used to this.

Let me ask you this? Can you tell when a woman is on her period? Does she have a certain look about her? Of course not. The only way you would know is if she had blood on the back of her skirt or pants. Hope this helped. Good Luck.

I know exactly how you feel - and you REALLY dont need to be worried. Unless your periods leak, you get moody or you go to the bathroom every two minutes - people can't tell if you are on your periods. So don't think about it too much.
PS. congrats on gettin your first!

CONGRADULATIONS!!
I know what you mean about people knowing your on your period. some clues could be:
1)you get moody
2)you go to the bathroom every 10 minutes
3)leaks? (hope not!)
4)you wear pants every day
5)you look like your hiding something
6)you seem self consious

no worries, hun. just hold your head high, girl! no one should be able to tell if you look confident!
good luck!!!! <3

They wont know unless you tell them or they see blood.. but if you don't want to tell anybody then don't

There is nothing to be embarrased about. its a normal part of life that we must all go through.. all women have there periods.. don't worry so much.. people can't tell

not really
you might smell really bad if you dont shower daily durring this time
not just your pits, like down there will wreak.
umm you might wanna avoid bulky pads and tight clothes
then people can see your pad
and you want to make sure you change you pad pretty often, you wouldnt wanna bleed on your clothes ickk
but otherwise people really cant
and even if they could, its not like it matters, every girl will get their period at some point

They cant tell unless you tell them. But when I used to be on my period my brothers always knew because they would say why are you so moody and bit*chy. So just chill and relax, no one knows.
