Here's what you Can do, take Tylenol and some allergy pills(equate allergy pills) and have some one wake you up after you're on the ground. Chances are you won't feel a thing and you'll be asleep.

Not with a jaw, but my BF has the worst ear pain whenever we start to land in a plane. His ears fill up with pressure and hurt really bad with a sharp pain, and then again when his ears finally "pop" a while later they hurt badly again. What he does to alleviate it is to chew gum, but obviously that won't help with jaw pain. It sounds like it's caused by the same thing, though-pressure being put on various parts of your body that have contact with your inuses, so why don't you try taking sinus meds before your flight to see if that will reduce the pressure that causes your jaw to be pushed out of whack.

Try to yawn, again and again, that helps.

As to pain in your ears: try any of the Xylometazoline-based nose drops (yes, for your NOSE), then lie down on the side, your hurting ear downwards. If the pain doesn't go away, consult the doctor, as this can be dangerous.
