For example why do you need to be bubbly to do a behind the scenes office job? Like I would have the grades for the job but because I'm not bubbly they would turn me down... Hmm... So you can be thick and bubbly and you would get the job but if you are serious and just want to get paid you will get turned down. Don't make sense.

I like to have a joke but being bubbly is asking too much.

They each may have their own different interpretation or definition of bubbly. For some, it just may mean that they're looking for someone with a sense of humour, or a team player, etc.

Regardless of whether they're looking for bubbly or not, if you're interested in the job, I'd apply anyway. For all you know, you could fit their definition of "bubbly". :)

It's worth a shot anyway.

Why - because most of the people writing job ads have absolutely no clue what they're doing and just copy everyone else's job ads...! :)

The reality is, people with bubbly personalities annoy the heck out of everyone else and generally don't actually do any real work so ignore it is the best idea, as with most things you see in job ads. Especially ignore "Enthusiastic person...".

People who are happy promote positive demeanor. It's a fact that more business gets done in a positive environment.

I sense you haven't had a job that really cranks your tractor yet. Don't worry, most people don't find their true calling until around 30. That's right. So don't slam any doors on bosses because you might need that door open one day.

Smile. It makes people wonder what the heck you're REALLY up to.

They want to hire people that can make others feel at ease and are friendly. It just makes the place more fun to be in. A great thing if you are a receptionist, or are the first person that clients come into contact with.
