Are you my twin? You have actually just typed out what I have been doing for the past week. I have made a Christmas folder on my laptop, I made a Christmas playlist on youtube (I haven't got to the iTunes stage yet, I normally do that in December) and I have been playing Christmas games. I would say watch Christmas movies (I watched The Muppet Christmas Carol the other day), listen to your Christmas songs, make a wish list, plan presents and play Christmas games. I know it is hard to wait 165 days but think of it this way, from when I am writing this it is only 14147714 seconds until Christmas. Doesn't seem so long away when you think of it in seconds does it? Good luck and a Very Merry Early Christmas to you! xxxx

I'm sorry to tell you this but they are a known scam. That's how they operate. They know that there are tons of kids who want to be in show business. They tell them what they want to hear and get them excited. Their parents aren't in the business and don't know how things work. What they do is end up charging you outrageous fees for classes and photos and you get nothing out of it. Do yourself a favor and don't bother taking the meeting. You hear stories about people getting "discovered" at the mall. It doesn't really happen like that. If you want an acting career you'll have to work long and hard to get it. Sorry. But it's good you asked this. Now you won't get robbed.

It is indeed a scam, but to be honest you should very carefully research each move you make if you want to get anywhere. The fact you weren't sure about the company's name is alarming!
There are so many people out there ready and waiting to take advantage of people wanting to get into showbiz, you need to make sure when you get an offer that you research the people making the offer BEFORE you reply to it.

Well-known scam.
DO NOT give them any $$ upfront. Legitimate talent agencies get a percentage of your earnings.
