Why should color even come into it?
I am white and my partner is mixed race but I do not even think about the color difference.
We are together because we love each other and believe we belong together.
Love is about feelings not color.
Color is just that "color".
If people have a problem with it then tough luck because we could not care less what others think.
People that discriminate clearly have issues that they should be dealing with instead of worrying about people with happy lives.
Good luck to all you haters because you could never effect the love we share.

People love whom they love and thats it. As God loves everyone so should we. Are we to say that we are better than he who created us in his image. If God loves everyone and so should we.
My problem is when others use and abuse a relationship because of the race factor. Im not going to get into that.
My brother has a child by a woman of a dif race and I love him just as much as I do my other neices and nephews.
Does it bring the cultures together NOt REALLY.
People still have their own family celebrations and tradition. It may help them understand one &another better but bring them together I doubt it.

I'm in one and never notice until I read things about "mixed relationships", me and my husband are so simlar, we both grew up in the same area, did the same things, we are culturally no different, the only difference is our skin colour and that's only other people who notice. But most people dont any way cos where we live we (people in mixed relationships) are the norm.

I don't see a problem with it. Race is the last thing that should be consider when dating, being in a relationship or marrying someone because their is more to someone than their culture or ethnicity. If you love and care for someone then go for it, life is to short to live your life on other people ideologies.

Does it matter? Love is love.If you find someone to love, and, they love you back, then,go for it.My only advice is to be aware of any difference's that someone else 's culture can present. If you think about it,not many people are only one culture.Various religions, ethnicity etc have mixed for years. It has always happened, and in the age of world-travel it's going to carry on forever.Get with the program. The hardest thing are relationships.

Yes...I think that interracial relationships are the bridge that will finally bring the human race together. The most beuatiful people in the world are mixed people.

interracial relationships do not necessarily end the race wars
a nice sentiment but not effective
it is easier for individuals to get together than groups of people
i don't care who is with whom personally speaking
i have dated/been engaged to every kind of person there is
i wanted to be part of a black family and I didn't want to move away from my family (based in America) and i hated all the hassles that came from being an interracial couple
i am concerned about the black family, but everyone can be with whom they want really, in my opinion
in fact, nobody's relationship is any of my business
for example, I was a young child when Prince Charles and Princess Diana married in 1981.....
I saw the wedding and wanted them to stay together
but they didn't and while I am still sorry, it isn't my affair
i am glad, no matter how violently she died, that Princess Diana rests in peace now
and I am happy that Prince Charles is with a woman he loves now

Oh, I thought you must mean human with some other animal, which I do not support as animals cannot consent. I'm not sure you can have a mixed marriage between two humans.

It's fine, sometimes the cross cultural differences can cause friction but that's normal for any relationship.
I don't think it really helps the cultures as such, but it does help the individuals invloved to understand the others culture.
