Despite the previous answerers negative responses, I would have to say yes, which directly answers your question, comments like 'Bin it' are not an answer. There are many reasons people have and want to use vintage kit, an example being an elderly neighbour of mine who, on a state pension cannot afford the latest computer. Then there are people such as myself who like the challenge of getting old kit up and running as well as building up to date computers.

Link 1 below shows that in some cases it is possible to use USB under Win95 and instructions on how it's done.
Win98se will work but will need drivers.

However with only 4gb of storage, unless for some reason you must use Windows, Linux is a better alternative. For the specifications of your laptop I would suggest Damn Small Linux (Link 2). As you will see it includes most of the software you might need. If you have tried Linux before then you'll get into it almost straight away, if you are new to Linux then obviously it will be a learning curve but one that once you get into it I'm sure you'll agree was worth it.

Good luck and may the Penguin be with you.

Not really. Try picking up a 2nd hand XP unit from Ebay or a car boot. Your existing hard disc could be moved as a slave onto this system, allowing access to your Win '95 files.
