I fingered my girlfriend the other day and she felt no pain and didn't bleed at all. Could I perhaps not have reached far enough to have broken it? I guess it was about 3 inches...ring finger. Is the hymen that far up in a woman? She is definitely a virgin, we both are.

The hymen is located at the entrance of a girl's vagina. Fingering her won't break her hymen. A finger is basically the width of a tampon applicater and tampons are too small to break the hymen. The only way she can break her hymen is if she uses a menstrual cup or has sex. The hymen can be stretched out from tampons and physical activities such as sports, though. Best of luck!

Like the other answers say the hymen might of gone a while ago, ne thing from swimming and sports to using tampons, masterbating even? any way its a good thing that she didnt experience any pain...now you can experiment some more and she will feel confident about it! although you cannot be sure that the hymen is no longer in tact, id had intercourse with 2 partners and it took until the 3sd until i bled!!! only thing i can think of was because he was larger! but just go with it enjoy yourselves and see what happens, if the hymen is still intact and it is broken by you dont worry it is not a big deal, hardly any blood, she probably wouldnt notice herself until she visited the toilet!

The hymen is not totally closed. Fingers and tampons can usually pass through the opening of the hymen without tearing it.

She may not have a hymen. It might have been broken years ago with sports or something., Also it has a hole for menstrual blood to pass through and a tampon to pass through so your finger would pass through it too.

It have been broken a years ago with sports or something. The vagina usually get a menstral blood pass thru the tampon, if you finger inside you.
