actually Syria has beautiful beaches (much larger than the Lebanese beaches area-wise) in Tartous and Baniyass but unfortunately they are not very well exploited (like they are in Lebanon)...they have a few beach complexes (chalets) but nothing like those in Lebanon.

i think cyprus ...recently syrian diplomacies are working to bring the land of native syrians back to them after cyprus men took it away many years ago..
