older kids with no costumes get the cheap candy like the smarties and bazooka gum, little kids in cute costumes get the good stuff like snickers, Baby Ruth's, Hershey's bars, Resses peanut butter cups, blow pops, m&m's, three musketeers...stuff like that. When they have a really great costume they get a king size candy bar and we make a big deal of it! Then our little cousins come over and they get the home made stuff like carmel or candy apples or rice krispy treats or decorated cup cakes. We love Halloween!!

I usually get about five or six huge bags of candy all different kinds and give them out. Also I get little toy surprises a bit better than in a box of Cracker Jacks, and give the kids who are really dressed in a real cute costume as a real treat. I decorate the porch, carve pumpkins and have them set out, fix a black cauldron with hot ice and have the candy in there. We sit in chairs outside and scary music plays....it is really fun....for us and the kids....

I'm giving out iPod shuffles and nanos to the little kids that are dressed in an original and imaginative costume, and are polite. The 18 or 20 year olds that show up get one piece of tootsie roll.

Whatever I have on hand. We live out too far and have never gotten any trick-or-treaters the 6 years we've lived there. Plus, we work 2nd shift so we're not home for them anyways.

I go with my dad to get the candy and he always loads up on like 5 big bags and of course NO ONE ever comes to my house. I'm not sure why but if you came you would get like half of it because my dad wouldn't want them in the house...

None this year...since the Neighborhood Watch people blacklisted me last year for chasing some little tikes with a live Alligator! He was on a leash!
