I need to buy one yesterday! This time of year, does anyone know where I could get the best deal on a 7,000 Btu wall unit A/C? It does NOT need to have heating capability.
I sincerely appreciate your help on this.

I'm in Central Florida. I just checked the prices at HD...& this is weird, a 7,000 Btu is $269, 8,000 Btu is $169, & a 10,000 Btu is $157!!! Wouldnt MORE Btu = a higher price?

Lowe's, Walmart or your local hardware store, most likely... 8000 btu window units are running about $175 here in my neck of the woods... they'll start putting them on clearance sale soon.

many times, what human beings do is get a image voltaic array put in, and tied into the domicile's capability grid. Then it somewhat is not any longer constrained to powering the A/C basically. And if the A/C is off, then the panel powers different issues in the domicile, or if there is extra capability, that element is bought to the capability business business enterprise. in case your section is physically powerful for image voltaic, there might desire to be community installers which provides you with a quote. If there are no longer any community installers, it rather is a clue that your section won't be stable. Hawaii, as an occasion, is between the terrific places. you will get a 4 kW equipment that retains up with the A/C year around for about $6000 after incentives.

Without knowing where you are, or access points I see 5000 at HD and Lowes all the time for less than $100. I want to assume IF one can get a 7000 it has to be less than or close to $200.

Certainly you can check that online at either of those two vendors

If your prices are correct buy the 10,000 BTU one it is a much better price and will not have to run as much
