I have never flew on an airplane but I think I would rather do that than ride on a train. Because I have had such a terrible experience with train service, I would not do that again!

Train ~ I will be taking several this holiday season. I've previously always taken plains and missed all the wonderful scenery and the sensation of actually traveling (experiencing it a little more then while flying; though that was fun too) and not just appreciating it like a child in a car who wants to wine and complain even though they have a window seat to the world...I hope it goes well. The plane is faster but a train is much more enjoyable experience.
People are subject to search on trains just like on airplanes.

I've already rode on a train but i haven't flown in a plane yet but it would be nice to go on a train again cause when i first went on a train i slept the whole time lol and i haven't ridden in one since then but my answer is still fly in a plane!☺

It would depend on the length of the trip, and how much time I had.
If there was plenty of time, I would much rather take a train. I used to love flying, but since I've been doing it a lot more lately, I've grown to detest it.

fly is the best way to get there. But I always fly so it would be nice to take the train next time if the train will get me to where i'm headed.

Fly. It's been a long time since I went on a real vacation.
Curiously enough, there's a steam train close to my village (I'm in England) that runs to the beach 30 miles away.

Bass P is wrong - a train is always safer than a plane. Given those options, I would always choose a train first over flying.
