Ok. Here my theory/analogy. Jesus Christ is worshipped because he died for the good of mankind. In the movie Armageddon, Bruce Willis killed himself for not only mankind but the entire planet. My question is if he did the same thing as Jesus shouldn't Bruce Willis' character be worshipped in a new religion callled Willisanity. Lets say you put him and Criss Angel together so he can do magic to and say he is the son of god. Then do you worship him?

Thats what im saying just because he can perform magic or whatever and then say hes god. A billion people could do that these days, whats the difference, if someone did that today, they would be sent to a mental ward

lol im not one of those bruce willis worshipper, just a guy trying to prove a point, cuz if that really happened i would never give anyone a religion for that, maybe a global holiday, and you just proved my point by calling me crazy for worshiping someone who woould have done such a thing. I personally am jewish, and think christians are the craziest bunch of people in the world, mainly for their highly hypocritical views, and careless treatment of poorer religions and people

oh good God. first off....HECK NO,
its incomparable. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, meaning that if a human was to steal, God would have put them to death for that one sin. But since Jesus died for all of our sins, we aren't to be put to death. Second, Bruce Willis played a fiction character in a fiction movie, which means that the situation is fictional. Third,-back to Jesus-he actually completed miracles, (walking on water, water in to wine, healing the blind.....i made that rhyme =) ) so yea, i get what you're saying but no, never...there is only ONE Jesus.

oh and Jesus never did any sins and that's what it takes to be a savior. Bruce Willis' character may have lied and he wouldn't stand a chance.

First of all, Jesus Christ is not worshipped ONLY for that reason. He did much more for us than just die. There is only one Jesus.
Secondly, if you were going to worship the CHARACTER that Bruce Willis played, you wouldn't call it Willisanity.

Never compare a mortal to an immortal. Jesus is the son of God. Bruce is the son of.. his mother. ^_^
