B-12 does indeed give you energy, but pills that you swallow are destroyed by stomach acids and are a waste of time and money. There are however, lozenges that you allow to melt in your mouth where most of the B-12 is absorbed through your mucous membranes. Personally, I use 100mg a day, and it really makes a difference for me. And no, it is not just for pernicious anemia....

First, I want to say stay away from the shots. Basically, the shots are a super dose that slowly goes out of your system. Most people feel really sick (like nearing flu symptoms or worse) after they get one of these shots because you are literally overdosing on B-12.

Now that I've said that, B-12 is very good for energy and capsules or lozenges are very good forms. There are thousands of our customers that use it every day, and I'm sure there are millions of people in the world that use them in supplement form.
The B vitamins are water soluble, so what your body doesn't need will be excreted (the person that said they will build up is mistaken in that). Also, the stomach acid may damage and/or destroy some of the B-12 in capsules, but you still get a lot of the benefits from the capsules... that's the way your stomach works (otherwise you wouldn't get nutrition from half your food).
There have been many invitro assays done on all the B vitamins (which simulates the stomach's acid, enzymes, heat, movement, etc), and all of them show that enough of each of the B vitamins get absorbed into your tissues that they do give benefits... not to mention the fact that thousands of our customers take the capsules and have reported positive benefits in the past. ;-)

All in all, most people don't get a huge buzz like caffeine can offer, but it's also not a drug, so your body won't get used to it as easily (which it seems your body has gotten used to caffeine). If B-12 doesn't work well enough for you, let me know and I can mention several popular natural energy boosters. Good luck!

The B complex will boost your energy but B12 is the best energy booster in the complex.

If you take a large amount of B12 such as mega doses you should also take the B complex to avoid a deficiency of other B vitamins which can be caused by large amounts of B12 such as mega doses. This scenario is caused by the preferential absorption of B12 at the expense of other B vitamins as all the B vitamins interact.

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.

1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.

2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.

3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.

These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

Only about 10 % of B12 is absorbed into the body when taken orally. 100% is absorbed when given as an injection. I haven't had one personally but it does wonders for my elderly patients.

I had tingling peripheral extremities (small fingers and toes) and was recommended B complex. Nothing much happened so I tried B12 injection (1000mg). Limbs still tingle, but I'm sooooo full of energy!
