It actually exceeded the US dollar there for a wee spell today. I don't think I've every seen it do that in my lifetime. What do you think that means?

Well considering many goods cost much more here in Canada than the US I think this is significant at this point in time and unfortunately don't believe Elvis really had much to do with it.

You got it faires...I heard many things sell for about 24 percent lower...that is going to hurt our economy if people start doing that...maybe our prices will go down however! That would be better still don't you think?

It is a weird thing since I like our Canadian money better. the only good thing is going to the States and buying there stuff with a good price including there amazing taxes which are very low .

actually- the canadian loonie is at over par right now. it was last over par in 1977- the year of elvis's death and ABBA
