Need help with a bands and the song?

I'm trying to find the name of a band who lost one of their band members or a family member due to a death. This band made a song about him. I can remember some of the video…it’s a white guy with tattoos all on his arms, in some of the video they are at a house and then near the end of the video they are sitting on the beach with all his friends and family around a fire and you can see like a silhouette of his reflection. I think it’s 90’s or early 2000 group. Please if anyone has a clue as to who this band is I sure would appreciate the help.. I placed this once already in the music category but I forgot more details…
