anybody know any colleges that you can earn degrees in these sorts of fields? Im going to college right now for my MBA but my heart has always been in astronomy but theres no options at all around here. was hoping to find some info on some colleges. let me know if you guys have any info...... thanks

There are plenty of colleges that offer astronomy majors, but you can't really get a job in astronomy without a PhD. There's not much you can do without one. Just something to keep in mind.

Good colleges for astronomy - Harvard, Princeton, Berkeley, MIT, CalTech, UCLA, UC Santa Cruz, UC Santa Barbara, UT Austin, U Chicago, Columbia, UMass Amherst, Ohio State, U Hawaii, U Arizona, UC Boulder, U Washington, Clemson.

Try to get into Cornell University.

I know that the University of Hawaii is great for astronomy. They have the best real life training because they actually have the large scale telescopes.
