If God made the universe perfect then there would be no reason to intervene in which case time would run like a movie, unless his tastes changed (but he would know that so he still wouldn't need to intervene because that would also be determined from the beginning) but then God would not be part of the cycle of life and would just be an observer. This wouldn't give the universe any purpose.

If God wanted to be part of creation, he would have purposely made the universe imperfect so he could step in at the right time to fix things. So creation would be more like his video game.

He gave us self awareness which make me think he wanted to be part of it, but divine intervention would violate causality which is an important part of rational thinking. Then there all the times he doesn't intervene to prevent suffering which leads me to believe he is evil or indifferent at best.

So what you think? movie or video game?

The answer to when life started and who made it is twisted and long. Information has been destroyed or changed into mythology due to the power of supremacy. As it being a video game/movie, it can happen. However we live now so rejoice and live life in how you want to make it.

to declare that the universe created itself is to undertaking into the area of IRRATIONAL theory. Such an fact violates a uncomplicated concept of positive judgment: the regulation of noncontradiction. in case you have attain an irrational end, then the two your preliminary premise, or some thing interior the stairs maximum efficient on your end is incorrect. it would seem to me that the tip to attain from this concept is that the universe is eternal. notwithstanding, information and different branches of technology point out it particularly isn't any longer. i've got no longer studied Gott's time-loop theory, however the image you appropriate exhibits an element that has a diverse branching which isn't a loop. it seems inconsistent then: portion of time isn't looped and portion of it particularly is. How do you (or Gott) account for those 2 diverse varieties of time?

This is a good question!

To me, the answer is neither.

I believe that God created us to be his friends. We don't (well, we shouldn't) view our friendships as simply movies or video games. A friendship is much more than that.

We aren't stuck in a videogame. God didn't create us so that we would be puppets to bend to his every will. Just like a good person doesn't have friends in order to use them, God didn't make us just to force us to do things we didn't want to do. We have free-will to either make good choices or bad. Life is sort of like a video game, but WE control it. God is sort of like, the game guru we go to to ask for help, and the Bible is sort of like the help manual.

Most of the crud that occurs in the world happens because of the sin of Adam, which caused the world to become cursed. When Jesus came, he prevailed over sin, but only for people who believe in him. The world is still cursed, and that is why people murder, steal, and lie.

That's what I believe. :)

God created us all to see and rediscover our paths and then when the time is right chooses wether heavan or hell is right for us.

I think it is more of a video game because when I think of video game I think of Zoo Tycoon.
In Zoo Tycoon you create the animals, stores, roads, etc and then you PLAY it and it keeps running and running and running and never stops until YOU stop it and you can make whatever you want occur and change whatever your heart desires.
