Go to the site of the ferry nearest to where you live, they all have a short break option, often you can bring your car free or cheap.
There are ferries from (near) Newcastle:

Hull:

Harwich:

Or by train/ferry from London:

If you fly or go via Belgium you might still find a good short break offer.

The hotel is located near the Schiphol airport and offers a free shuttle for most of the day and evening, at regular intervals. From Schiphol you can take a stoptrein of Nederlandse Spoorwegen (Railways) to Amsterdam Centraal and do sightseeing.

Or visit other cities of the Netherlands such as Rotterdam and Den Haag, which also have nice attractions for tourists.
