You first step in determining if it is fixable is to determine the extent of the damage if any. First you must find out if this is an "interference or non-interference" engine. If you timing belt/chain broke and it is the interference type then there is a good chance that your engine is shot to heck as the pistons most likely came in contact with your valves and did something not pretty. If it is the later of the two then you will be fine after a new belt/chain and timing the engine. Timing belts/chains should be replaced every 60K miles regardless of weither it needs it or not. PERIOD!

Its fixable but Civics have interference engines so its not a question of if you bent the valves, they are bent, at the very least the head will have to come off, valves replaced as well as the water pump and the timing belt.

Honda civics are interference fit engines.
If the timing belt broke, it's highly likely that you've got bent valves and a damaged piston head or two.
You can try replacing the timing belt and praying that the valves aren't bent and pistons aren't scored, but if they are, you're looking at major engine repair (removing head, getting a head job, replacing scored pistons, etc. pretty much need an engine rebuild)

Very fixable. In hondas, this is considered a replaceable part that should be changed every 50 or so thousand miles. Same goes for the clutch, so watch for it to go on you soon.

it is fixable. providing you didn't break the valves or broke a piston. take the head off and inspect the valves to see if they are bent,. look at your pistons too . they might have a little dent in them from the valves slamming into them but they will be alright . might spent a cool 400 to get everything Right again

depends if it is an interference engine or not. if not, probably just needs a new belt, repair manual would be a big help, an could save a lot of money. if it is, could be costly
