No it's not your imagination. I believe the journy to somwhere is slower than the journy home, because of the wait factor. It's like watching water boil. You want to be at that destination so bad, that time just seems to drag on and on. The way home seems faster because you;ve probably had a good weekend or trip and are more relaxed.

i think it seems faster on your way back because most of the time you are more then ready to go home..
