i love music. i played the flute and i sang every chance i got, but lung disease took that away. two things i hold dear to my heart i can no longer do. smoking is not why i got lung disease so i didn't bring this upon myself. i have sarcoidosis.

Pay off my debts and establish credit so someone would want to steal my identity. (not really) Being on a fixed income seems to have an unfortunate advantage over some acquired debts. When agencies and the government start taking away benefits to pay off debts besides child support than what's the point of being on and collecting disability? You would be forced to work or steal to stay alive anyway. I'm so confused. I was told my ex-wife could have received about two thirds of what I am getting for each child and take child support from my benefit as well. I wonder why she didn't? When she divorced me she had told me laughingly that I was worth more to her dead than alive. I don't know what a normal life really is these days.I do know things can and have been worse.
I guess my real answer is: Plan for the future.

There are many things that I cannot do anymore I have had several surgeries on my back and cannot work. I cannot stand or set for long periods of time I cannot lift over 5 pounds and that makes it very hard with grandchildren. I cannot run, I cannot turn my head to look over my shoulder I need another surgery on my back but after so many I am now afraid of them and think the pain is better than the risk.

I have epilepsy and 4 heart attacks and by pass and pacemaker, disability, YES.
climb, work, clean house maybe one room at a time, more energy, not tired so much, be more limber, calmer nerves, lift heavy things again, could stand the heat again. So much more to mention.
Good luck, I am sorry for you.
Do the best you can and enjoy all you can, we still have a life to live and there are things we can do. At least we aren't bedridden.

Well since I happen to Aspergers, I wish I had enough skill to catch myself a pretty girlfriend or to be able to work at a normal middle income job. No,don't tell me that I'm supposed to be really smart,I'm not. I see myself as slightly stupid at times. My I.Q.is 105(supposed to be 111, actually). I just long to live out my life more ordinary, but happier at the same time.

before i became disabled i would pick my grandson's up every friday nite and we would go or do something every weekend, and take them home on sunday.
now because of my disability i now rarely get to see them, and i miss them terrible and i know they miss me and the things that we used to do. that is the part of my life i miss the most.
