Oh! Talk about memories! I sure can. That was back in the old days when there weren't 900 different brands and types of shampoos to take up a whole aisle in the store.

Wasn't Prell the one that showed the pearl dropping slowly in the bottle? Breck always had pictures of pretty girls with long flowing hair on the label too. Do you remember the old Herbal Essence shampoo? The deep green shampoo.

Yes, I sure do!

Prell was green and came in a tube! I can picture sitting in my mom and dad's tile shower with a wash cloth plugging up the drain and the tube of Prell floating around!

Breck was sort of yellowish gold and smelled like baby shampoo!

Sure do. Breck never did a very good job for me, my hair never looked like the "Breck Girl", but, washing my hair with Prell was like washing with Tide! Always had to use "Tame" afterward.

Yes I do. The Breck Girls in their commercials and the pearl slowly dropping through the Prell concentrated shampoo in theirs.

Enjoy a little commercial flashback . . .

Yes! My family used both, and Halo, as well. Prell was my favorite! I loved squishing that green gel out of the clear plastic tube ... and I thought it smelled so good!! I didn't really like the scents of Breck and Halo. Fond memories!

Oh indeedy! For extra points, anyone else remember Fitch Shampoo? "Don't despair..use your head, save your hair..use Fitch Shammmmmpoo". Now that stuff made Prell look like whipped cream by comparison...Fitch removed not just dandruff but could also strip paint off bumpers...but if you had those summertime itchy-time daily-scaly scalp moments, Fitch would get 'er done down to the Plimsoll line and below, if needed. There was, however, something...[drum-roll]...even stronger than Fitch...and for Fitch-resistant scalp thingies [no, not the little critters, those got kerosene, right?], my grandma swore by Packer's Pine-tar Shampoo. I believe it would also have dissolved a whole sheep, or at least for sure dip one in a NY minute. It's key ingredient was, I believe, creosote.

Sure do! I believe Prell is still around; not sure about Breck, though.

Yes I do!!! Wow brings back some very fond memories for me. I mainly remember the commercial for Prell and the Peal dropping to the bottom. Wow things were so much more simple in those days.
