I have my heart set on the name Ava, but I've come to a standstill with middle names. I would love to name her after a grandmother that I was very close to. Her name was Elizabeth Ann. I think Ann is WAY too overused, and I like Ava Elizabeth, but I really like the name Lauren. Would it be really tacky to name her Ava Lauren Elizabeth? I don't mind the idea of a double middle name, but is it doing my grandmother an injustice? I LOVE classic names, so please don't suggest I change Ava to Avah or add a middle name like Cheynaynaynaque or Aeryial or anything like that. I like traditional classic names and I want it to be very feminine. I'm torn on Ava--I've wanted Ava ever since I was a little girl and then Reese Witherspoon names her kid that and there are TONS of them. Do I stick with it?

I LOVE the name Ava. I would use that name for a girl if I ever had one again. My daughter's name is Emma. I also like the classic names that are old-fashion. (Olivia, Clara, Sylvia) I do like the combo Lauren Elizabeth. I flows very nicely together and goes well with Ava and no, I do not think you would be doing your grandmother an injustice. I think she would be proud her grand daughter is carrying on her name. Even if it is the second half of the middle name.

I love Ava and Elizabeth. Lauren is nice as well. I actually like the three together. I would go with Ava Elizabeth Lauren though, I think it flows better. Or you could always go with Ava Elizabeth and save Lauren for you next daughter if you plan on having more. Good Luck, and I agree, I love the traditional classic name.

I think the name Ava is very beautiful. I would stick with it. As for middle names, there is nothing wrong with having 2 middle names. My two younger sister both have 2 names.

I prefer Ava Elizabeth Lauren. I don't think this will be doing your grandmother an injustice.

Ava Elizabeth Lauren, or Ava Lauren Elizabeth, are both beautiful names.

Whatever way around you put the midle two names, do you honestly think your Grandmother would think you are doing her an injustice! Of course she wouldn't. It doesn't matter which of the middle names comes first.
Congratulations & Good luck ;)

I like Ava Elizabeth or Lauren Elizabeth.

If you use 2 middle names you'll be the only one. There's no room for 2 names on forms. It will be reduce before she starts school.

Hi---I gave my daughter (born 3 weeks ago) a double middle name. Her name is Calin IleneFay . The middle name is after both of her grandmothers. But I did it in one word but with both beginnings of the name capitalized. I love the name Ava Lauren Elizabeth. Very feminine. By the way both grandmothers are pleased as punch!

You should call her Ava Elizabeth Lauren. The other version's (Ava Lauren Elizabeth) initials spell an old word for alcohol (ALE). But other than that,it's good.

I too am considering Ava with two middle names, but am lowering it on the list due to its popularity. However if you do decide on it, I would use Ava Elizabeth Ann. Good luck!
