it isn't easy. basically nobody wants you if they know you're trans, even if you had to tell them before they knew. people tend to see you as some sort of 'it', and i think many would get kind of weirded out by the thought of dating someone who's transsexual. boys think you're just gay, and they're not interested, and getting hit on by gay guys would really damage my self-esteem. so~ i guess you have to kind of get used to being alone
but then that could just be me
and for everyone, there's someone who will see you as you are, and love you for that...so~ it's hard,
but i guess nothings impossible

I'm a female to male transsexual.
I've only been in one, like 5 day long relationship since starting my transition.
I like tomboyish or "soft butch" lesbians, and many of them can't get over how it would ruin their lesbian image to be seen with a "guy". And I can't get over how I could be attracted to someone so fickle and shallow. So..it usually ends up in an argument and/or a breakup.
I've tried approaching straight girls who are usually very receptive to me because I do pass pretty well...but once they find out I have the same thing down there as they do, they freak out and go kinda psycho.
Gay guys LOVE me. They think i'm like the cutest thing since sliced bread. Until they find out I DON'T have a penis. And I'm not really thrilled by the fact that they DO, since that's not really my thing.
Straight men..heh..I'm a guy. Nuff said. They don't even look in my direction. Neither do most gay girls.
Makes the dating pool very shallow.

How easy? Um, you mean on a scale of 1-10? I think it's probable that it varies from case to case and person to person. Don't you agree?

Same as it is for anyone really. Transvestites and crossdressers manage it well enough, so why not transexuals ?
