Because it is a non issue to vote on (Obama), and because Hillary voted to pass a non partisan bill that would condemn ALL attacks made on people in the military. That bill was voted down by republicans. So ask yourself, why does the GOP think it is OK to do it to a democrat, but not to a republican?

Biden and Obama were busy researching for tommorows vote on whether or not the senate approves of Rush Limbaughs radio show. Followed by the vote on whether or not they should be allowed to read an Ann Coulter book

Because the Senate voting to condemn a poltiical organization for saying something they don't like is dangerously close to govt infringement of constitutionally protected speech.
The govt cannot pick and choose who gets to say what, and does not get to approve the content of messages that people choose to express -- that's an absolute constitutional freedom, especially in the political arena.
The only thing that saved the Senate was that the resolution was non-binding -- but it was also exactly the type of non-binding resolution that conservatives scream against whenever a political body says they don't like some conservative pundit.
So, at best it is hypocrisy -- at worst, a threat to free speech.

There was a vote held earlier in the day to condemn all ads against the military and none of the Republicans voted for that because John Kerry was one of the attacks listed on there. this vote was nothing but partisan bullcrao at it's best. If republicans really cared about the military, they would have voted for that too.

Because they are catering to their wacky far left base and any support towards the troops or any other pro-American faction is considered treasonous by moveon.org nut jobs.
