Egypt,its people and history never cease to hold me in awe and absolutely fascinate me.
Loved the video on you Tube it had me giggling like a kid. Enjoyed it so much that I watched parts 2 and 3 as well. Coka-cola green,oh yuk and its my favorite drink!

Here are some amazing but rather odd facts about the ancient Egyptians, for your list of absolutely useless but interesting information.

The ancient Egyptians invented the toilet seat.

They also invented eyeliner (kohl) and toothpaste which was made of myrrh,burned eggshells,pumice and the hooves of oxen.

The oldest comic strip was found in ancient Egypt.

The first written children's story was written by the ancient Egyptians.

Camels were unknown in ancient Egypt.

Crocodile dung was used as a contraceptive in ancient Egypt.

The earliest depiction of juggling is of Egyptian women.

The ancient Egyptian written language contains no vowels.

The 6th Fatimid caliph Hakim, banned women's shoes as a means of keeping them indoors.

Hakim hated molaktiyya soup so much that he had it banned.

and in more recent history....

In the1950's Egypt's film industry was rated third after Hollywood and Bombay.

When Egypt had civilisation, others didnt even start creating something..
It is not only the civilisation, but the people..People who never expressed any religious fanatism towards the foreigners, people who conservated other civilisations, who accepted others in their country, people grateful and always opened...
The civilisation of a country begins from its ancient times, who has ancient civilisation knows how to treat people..
And Egypt is one of the few countries who has it...

yes , i love egypt !!!! it's in my blood !!!! i don't open youtube soo much , but i opened it , the video is cool !!! and it's fact !!!!! at rana , because if u feeled that u will die , u will do anything to stop it , try to hold ur breath and u will see !!!
