omg i was soooooooooo scared when i told my too!!!! and before i started i always was scared i would start while i was wearing white pants or sumthing!!! but it is really easy... just be like "hey mom i think i started my period.... could i have a pad or sumthing?" and also it is easier if you have sum reason to leave the room after you say that like i had my friends over so i just said that and then wuz like k i got to go back with my friends!!!!

Just tell her that u had your period. Its nothing to be ashamed of... its what we...as females...go through. She needs to know because she can help you if you have any questions or something happens... stuff like that.

tell your mom. you know what? i had my period last month, my first, and i had to call all my best friends, and you know what they told me? they said no matter how much its embarrasing, you have to tell your mom, and trust me they were right,you won't regret it, just tell your mom,and everything will be okay,
plus your mom had it too, she must of felt like that telling your grandma!

take your mom aside and tell her you hve started your period and you need help and mabye then she will talk to you and let you know what is up take care.
