I'm in a yahoo! default scoring and default roster league. My other TE is Dallas Clark, my other RB's are LJ and Maroney. My WR's are T.O., Ward, Coles, Cotchery.

Don't Do It!

There is no other tight end that will give you the kind of production as Gates and Johnson has been very solid in his first 2 games.

In return, you would be getting an un-proven rookie running back who is going to lose carries to Brandon Jackson, and an inconsistent RB on a mediocre team.

LJ and Maroney have not done much this year to say the least, but they are both featured backs and will break out soon enough.

You gave up two sure thing stars for one injury-proned star and a big maybe. The good news is that you are so set at receiver that losing Johnson won't matter much. So I'd say that if Westbrook stays healthy, it just might turn out to be a good move. That said, Clark will never be as good as Gates, and Wynn will not be much of a factor at all this year. If the other guy is great at running back, I'm thinking he's smiling pretty big right now.

Hold on the Gates. he is the best TE in the league production wise. It is hard to find receivers that put up good numbers and you are just about to give away two of them for one good player. Wynn should not even be on anyones team in your league. He just isn't consistent enough. Hold on to Gates and Clark cause you will need a good TE off the bench when the bye week comes around. Don't make the trade that you are asking about.

Well, you definitely need help at RB, and your WR can stand to lose Johnson. I'm just worried about trading away Gates. He basically puts up WR numbers for a TE roster spot. I'd rather try to dump off another WR (Ward or Coles for example) or another RB in return along with Johnson.

I would do it but keep Johnson and offer Cotchery, i think Maroney is only a backup guy on a fantasy team

no stay away
you have two good number producers in gates and johnson

westbrook is another one but wynn? Why is everyone so sold on this guy? He played ONE GOOD GAME! Why do you think the other guy is trying to get rid of him? Plus, Morency will be coming back, plus they have Jackson....

The ol' buy cheap, sell high trick..... dont fall for it.

gates is too valuable a TE, and C.J. is gonna have a good year with kitna throwing 56 times a game
