I have been quoted a price per foot to install a fence for my horses.

You may find this complicated, but it depends on the shape of the acre. If the acre is square, it would be less linear feet than if it were a long, narrow rectangle.

A square acre would be approximately 200x200 feet, which is 800 linear feet all the way around. If it were 80x500, it would be 1160 linear feet all the way around. That should give you some idea. You just have to add up the length of each side together.

It will depend on the shape of the acre. Least cost will be round, then square.

For a *square* lot: 834 feet.
