Whats an easy way to remove glue off the floor when you take out the indoor/outdoor carpet?

I'll just add my two cents. No offense to you or others.

First of all you didn't state the substrate that the indoor/outdoor was glued to. That might make a large difference in removal methods. Actually I'm amazed that carpet might still be glued anywhere; given our human instincts for "change"

Home stores sell floor scrapers.

To soften it with any manner of solvents might create more mess and more removal issues.

I'd wonder also about the intent AFTER? new flooring? Tile/ carpet/ wood/ laminate/ concrete stain?

with an chisle a hammer and metal brissle brush ...

so soften the glue you might let some goo be gone site on it for a lil while

You can try steam. Rent a steam cleaner or buy a hand held one and steam the glue away.

I would freeze it with a spray gum remover or with ice

thermite ... pretty much removes everything.

might also remove big chunk of floor.

try goof off or a citrus based solvent

Try WD-40 let it soak and then scrape.
