I love the name, Callie! I think it's cute, short, pretty, and feminine. I've considered naming my little girl that. It's of Greek origin and means "beautiful." Very good name! Good pick!

I've always loved the name Callie ... but now it kind of brings the Cali-Girl image to mind. Though it isn't an entirely flattering image, it doesn't exactly ruin the name.
There was a girl two grades above me named Callum who went by Callie ... all of her sisters had boys names as well (though I can't, for the life of me, remember them right now)
Some names Callie can be short for (not that it isn't a perfect name as is, but it lends itself as a perfect nickname)

I absolutely love this name! I actually thought about it. I also love the spelling, although all of the different spellings are great such as: Kali, Kalli, Calli, Kallie, Cali and Callie. Good luck and nice choice!

It's a nice name, but I prefer it as a nickname for Calliope, Calandra, or Calista/Calixta.
