In my planner, it gives laws that are supposed to be funny. But, I thinkg they're fake. If you live in any of these areas, please tell me if they are fake!

In Canton, Ohio, you have one hour to report your missing tiger to authorities.

In Alabama, bear wrestling matches are outlawed.

In Utah, it is illegal to cause a catastrophe.

In the UK, MP's are not allowed ot wear armor in parliment.

In Washington, it's illegal to pretend one's parents are rich.

In Galveston, Texas, you cannot land your airplane on the beach. (This is the only one that sounds reasonable.)

In Brookfield, Washington, it is illegal to use another person's cell phone to make a prank call.

In Acworth, Georgia, all citizens must own a rake.

In West Virginia, you CAN take road kill home for dinner. (EW!!!)

In Tennessee it is illegal to catch a fish with a lasso.

In 2002 the Greek government passed a flawed law that accidentaly banned all electronic games. (And the law was...?)

In Cheyanne, Wyoming, it is illegal to spit on the steps of a school.

In Michigan, the last Sunday is known as log cabin day.

And that's it. Are any of these laws true?

I don't know about any of these in particular, but usually those looney laws are true, but old and no longer enforced. There have been a lot of odd ball laws like that passed at the local level over the years to deal with somebody who did something stupid (like wrestling a bear or landing a plane on a beach).

My only issue with this is why would they pass a law saying you could take road kill home? Reason would dictate you make it illegal to do it, or do nothing if it was okay.
Now, if the law is specific to road kill like a deer is struck and killed, you could take it home or a cow or something like that.
I suspect this is not designed to give permission to get that dead sunk home before it rots. Actually, I suspect it is not a law at all. Just a rag on West Virginia.
