Rabbits can get pregnant pretty early, BUT PLEASE TAKE MY ADVISE!!!! Get then fixed asap! I got 2 baby bunnies from my shelter and they said that they ware girls, they WERE NOT... I flipped then over. I thought that they would be fine. Well, as soon as they hit puberty which is between 4-6 months, they became agressive and hurt each other. They are now about 9 months old and have been fixed. They cannot be together any longer though. We have tried to bond them, but I waited to long to get them fixed, so now everyday, one bunny has a giant cage and then other bunny only has a XLARGE dog crate. I am still working on it, but believe me you do not want to wake up in the morning and find bunny fur everywhere and both of them bleeding. Email me if you want to know more... BUT PLEASE... get them fixed for you and them!

For the most part the female can be bred at 6 months old. It will take about 30-33 days for them to have their kits. They will have around 5 to 6 kits the first time.

Males can also start breeding at 6 months old. Rabbits are hard to tell what gender they are at a young age. They look the same really till the males start to develop.

Rabbits are often mis-sexed at a young age. It takes an experienced eye to be able to determine gender.

The good news is that rabbits generally aren't able to breed until they are about 4 months old, which will hopefully give you some leeway. If you are in ANY doubt about their gender, though, separate them now!

This website has a detailed guide to how to check the sex of your rabbit, maybe it'll help: http://www.debmark.com/rabbits/sexing.htm

have a vet verify the sexes of your rabbits to make sure. if both same sex(either way) you need to get them fixed for fighting reasons. yes females will fight also. if opposite sexes you are in trouble. the youngest rabbit we had a litter from was about 5 months old..the babies didn't all survive.

get to a vet- it's worth the money to know for sure.

Rabbits can become fertile as early as 3 months of age. If they are babies, they can often be mis-sexed at an early age. It would be best to have them resexed at about 3 months. I would separate them at that time.

You'd have to state their ages, to know if they could be female and pregnant.

Why not have a pet shop employee or vet assistant help you to sex the rabbits. You can also do a Google search on ''sexing rabbits'', and it'll show you picture diagrams of male & females.

If they were missexed you could have a problem on your hands. You should find a vet who is knowledgable about rabbits and have them checked. They should also be neutered so they don't fight. Sometimes only a vet can tell which is which.
