No, opening the windows & playing loud music will not work. Set out some traps. Use peanut butter for bait. Try to find out where they R getting in & block it up. They can get in throught very small holes or even under the door.

I bought a (4 to a pack) mouse traps and baited them with a sliver of raw bacon and drizzled some bacon greece on the trap, set it out and within an hour, had traped three mouse. The fourth remained empty. I thought the problem was solved and gasp! I surprised one in the bathtub! It has stayed away from the trap so far, but it's just a matter of time....... he's next! If not, I'll go to the pet store and get myself a real hungry "Rat Snake!!" Dey love to eat little mice! Gurrrr!!

Don't use poison or glue traps. Both are unnecessarily cruel. Get something like the traps pictured in the following link: http://hokkiplast.fi/loukut/english.php

Okay, so you won't find that exact type of trap, but you can probably find something similar. They're easy to set, empty and reset. Just remember to tie them to a solid piece of furniture using metal wire, or the rats will drag the traps off, never to be seen again.

20-30 cm? That's a mighty mouse... You sure you ain't got rats?

Move all food to high cupboards, remove your bin and call the exterminator.

Remember if you see chewed packaging DO NOT EAT anything in or near it. Mice have a charming habit of continuously urinating as they eat. Lovely.

I feel your pain...First of all use a humane trap. they are very inexpensive and can be found at Walmart. You can also go to Radio Shack and buy a high decivel noise alarm for rodens. They will stay away from your house//now the expensive way is to get an exterminator that will guarantee his work in WRITTING

Set some traps. Or get a cat...or two. If it's a big problem, I suggest calling an exterminator.

Cheese and mice is a myth.. don't bother.

The only sure way to rid yourself of the pests is to get a cat.

Good luck with that : )

get some used kitty litter that your cat urinated on and place it where you think the mice are. the smell of their natural predator should drive them out.

(doesn't work for chipmunks, though. i clogged up a chipmunk hole on my lawn twice and the little frigger must eat the stuff since he opened up the hole both times, little b@st@rd!!!)
