When my mother passed away and it was the lowest point in my life where in i was gauging my faith and questioning everything...i had this irksome row with my closest mates and with a couple of family members, it was helluva time wherein i was hanging to sanity and reminding myself that mum has passed away - i know that - but then facing it in mundane trifles of life is not easy at all. I wasnt the type that I was blaming God, all I was asking for was not to go nuts, and to staying sane in an insame situation. I needed all the time for myself, to reflect and learn to live in a new life - with this death that has just occured. I really did no ask forgiveness to my family members and friends, for acting 'not myself' when in the first place i really shouldn't - this neww feeling of loss is all brand new to me, that adjusting and succumbing to it was just so bizaare. I think I was forgiven through time - my relatives thought that i was suicidal, when in fact the thought has crossed and dwelt in my mind. But here I am, four years after - and so eager to live life, at my own pace.

I find it easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission. I apologized and asked for forgiveness after an all night pickled egg and beer eating contest. Not because I was hung over, but because I could peel wallpaper with the explosive flatulence I let go the next day.

It's been a while since I've asked for forgiveness and 'cause of this, I don't know what it was last time either.

Everyday I do things that require forgiveness and every day I ask for forgiveness. I ask it from God and i ask it from offended parties. Since my sins are countless I will not attempt a list.

With "Bob" in my mind, I don't need forgiveness of sin, we have justification instead. By joining the Church of the SubGenius, I received The Divine Excuse (something all other religions charge all earthly goods for), signed by J.R. "Bob" Dobbs himself.
"Wash away your old sins and receive new ones! Eternal salvation or triple your money back!"

Last Saturday night.
I got angry with someone
last week...and then asked if
we could just forget it.
He said "We need to talk."
(We haven't talked yet...and
I was cautioned to postpone it
for as long as possible because he
has a lot going on now...and to finish that
conversation now would be bad for both of us.)

I got edgy. yes, I apologized.
I suppose there are more where i should ask, but, all in due time; I'm still formulating words for those apologies, and I want to make sure I'm apologizing for something "I' really did, and something "they" really care about enough to hear an apology. Some people brush off things and don't want to hear an apology.

I was coming into to work when I saw that a blind mans dog had gotten away from him. I unleashed the dog and fastened it to a fire hydrant & told the blind guy that I found his dog and put the looped end in his hand. I felt really bad so I went back to apoligize ......but it turned out the dude wasn't blind at all>
